My Spotify Top 5 for Mar 13
Posted on March 13, 2020 with 3 minutes read time
My apologies for not pushing content on a regular basis. I’ve been going around the metro looking for work. I didn’t have the chance to find a really good topic to write on. Aside from looking for work, the major issue right now is the COVID-19, the coronavirus the originated from Wuhan, China. The Philippines has 140 confirmed cases with 2 deaths. 2 patients have recovered so far and I’m already thinking the worst is yet to come.

My Spotify Top 5 for Mar 6

The Top 5 for this week is very interesting. I’ve seen a few artists released their new albums and EP for the world to hear. Mandy Moore, after how many years, released a new album called Silver Landings; Thai Hip Hop artist Daboyway has also released a new album called Daboyway, and Cebu electronic pop duo Route 83 has also released their new EP called it’s getting dark. Aside from the albums released, another thing that also made the week interesting are the remixes.

My Spotify Top 5 for Feb 28
Posted on February 28, 2020 with 3 minutes read time
I’ve started this series from my previous blog and I’m planning to continue it here. So, what this series is all about? Spotify releases songs every Friday and I just felt the need to recommend song to those who need it. It used to be called My Spotify Top 5 but due to limitations of my blog software, I’m only able to embed links from YouTube. Listening to music is another way to release some stress, to concentrate on the things you’re working on, to socialize, and so on.
I'm Vince from Davao City, Philippines.
My recent work experience was in Cebu City, Philippines where I work as a Graphic Designer / Customer Support Agent for a card company based in San Francisco, USA. The main job was to determine and fix the mistake in a customer's order.
I returned home January 2020 before the pandemic started. While at home and staying safe, I learned Go and Javascript. The site's main framework is Hugo. Previously, I chose to have a Hugo + Webpack set-up with Webpack handling most of the assets (CSS and Javascript). When I migrated to Linux before the end of 2020, I dropped Webpack. Hugo Pipes is handling the site's CSS assets. No more Javascript.
I've also learned Python as well while staying at home and made a few random Python programs.
