Yep. I’m using WordPress.com blog and suprisingly I have a favicon. I thought favicons exist on WordPress.org blogs but right now, I do have a favicon.
What is a favicon?
Known as favorites icon, website icon, shortcut icon, etc. is an icon associated with a particular website or webpage. A web designer can create such an icon and install it into a website (or webpage) by several means, and most graphical web browsers will then make use of it. Browsers that provide favicon support typically display a page’s favicon in the browser’s URL bar and next to the page’s name in a list of bookmarks. (Wikipedia)
But WordPress just released a feature called Blavatar and I think it’s the reason why I have a favicon. Anyway, I’m just happy I have a favicon eventhough I just run a WordPress.com blog. Until then..
