As you all know, it’s been raining for the past few days. Since I’m always at home, an idea popped up since I saw Oleg’s GUI, “What if I install Windows Vista theme?”. I’ve found some pages containing Windows Vista theme but only 1 got what I was looking for. The Vista Transformation Installer. The battle in my mind surged whether I would install Vista theme or not especially when it literally transforms or changes my desktop look, the System32 and etc. I downloaded TuneUp Utilities 2007 just to make sure if anything happens, there’s a backup. So, the requirements for transformation is you have to be in Safe Mode. I rebooted my computer and took it to Safe Mode. Before transforming, you are prompted to specify if you want to change the font, GUI, boot screens, tool bars and etc. After that, you are good to go. You have to wait for 5-10 minutes to finish the transformation. Transformation doesn’t take place immediately upon completion. It starts when you get back to normal Windows. After trying it out, I noticed that it contains a lot of bugs. Bugs on the gadget, bugs on the theme. But most of all, the theme contains a lot of spyware. I’ll warn you on using this theme.
