Last night or shall I say yesterday, I had a good day. I was determined to upgrade my PC to SP3. After downloading Windows XP SP3 (Windows XP-KB936929-SP3-x86), I ran the file. Before the set-up could start, a warning message popped up. The (core) of Windows is not a valid Windows file. I did nothing. I went to a site and looked for UberIcon. A program that produces a nice eye-candy for your GUI. After installing UberIcon, i turned off my computer and went outside to play basketball. After playing, I turned on my computer. I was about to start Windows when it immediately rebooted. I let the computer reboot and waited for it to come back. To no avail, it rebooted the 2nd time. I reformatted my computer.

I was previously talking to my batch mate when he sent me a file. My computer rebooted my computer because of that file and immediately started a full sweep. I can’t seem to figure out what’s the culprit but I just let my computer be reformatted. Luckily, I could use my mom’s laptop. So, I used it for a while until I finished the reformat process. I installed back my BitDefender, my other programs (which I backed up on my Drive D), etc. I’m waiting to be updated from Windows and I hope I’ll get those updates.
